I think you will see schools sign the high profile guys going forward knowing that if you lose them you can always address needs through the transfer portal

In the past it was risky tying up spots for players you knew were likely going pro, you had to weigh the risk/reward

Now, if your class gets decimated you can add from the portal instead of worrying about it as much

Plus a lot of schools now can oversign knowing you can just cut those you don't want after fall ball

Curous to see if NCAA puts in some kind of rule limiting transfers you can take depending on how many you lose but as long as you have the 35 man roster it should alleviate some of the issues you will see with football

I think the easiest solution would be to have the proper amount of scholarships.
