Love a weekend like this because it gets everyone associated with the program fired up.
I am curious though how does a 4* LB from Texas have no offers from any of the instate P5 schools other than Texas Tech? Grades or something else?
I'm legitimately interested because I know nothing about him other than Rivals has him in their 250.

Couldn't tell ya. He's a name that just recently popped up for us. Visited this weekend and committed.

We have been recruiting him for awhile, but some schools get hesitant with a short 6'0 linebacker. This guy will hit you and your momma and run off papa.

247 has him listed at 238lbs i wonder if it maybe speed related

There are some studs flying under the radar in Montgomery this year. Ya'll got 2 already in Taylor and James Foster. Will be interesting to see if yall can swing Alfred Thomas, La'Dedrick Jackson and Tank Jenkins as well. All solid SEC quality players

Would not be surprised to see Taylor end up in AU's class by the end of the cycle as an ATH. I think AU has slowed played him knowing they have a better than good shot at flipping him if he gets the offer. I have a feeling he will blow up in the next couple months, great pick up for Mizzou.

It's pretty smart for Missouri to start recruiting the guys from Alabama that Auburn and Bama aren't after hard. With Bama recruiting a lot guys from all over the country now, there are players in Alabama who would normally get recruited by UA and AU that aren't right now. Miss State has done very well doing that.

Mizzou plans to play him at safety. There are some highlights of him playing safety in some drills in one of the camps and he looked really good.(physical)

I'm afraid we let the same thing happen with Keyteon(sp?) Thompson last year. Dude was a beast qb in high school and we didn't even offer him.
Edit: we did offer but it was late and we slow played him. I guess Narcisse and Brennan were higher on our board.

I love Taylor. Probably my favorite commit so far. Think he has massive upside.

Some nice pickups that should contribute more than their stars would have you believe. Good on Mizzou.
