It won't be the popular opinion amongst our fan base but I think he ends up picking Mizzou. Way to much pressure to stick with the home state school and its not like its a bad system fit. Still holding out hope he comes to Arkansas and will be thrilled but it wont surprise me to see him stay home.

I still feel very confident we get him. Arkansas has the edge in basically every category, and if he is a smart man he will realize which school will utilize his talents better.
Going with that, hopefully he isn't easily swayed by his parents if they are trying to get him to go to Missouri. They need to let him make the choice that is best for him, and I feel that is Arkansas.

I'm as confident as I've ever been that he'll end up a tiger but I'm still about 55/45 Mizzou.

DGB stopped in the tunnel as he was leaving the arena waved to the crowd as he received a standing ovation.

I am feeling pretty confident too. Its home and we have the offense to maximize his talents to the fullest. He belongs in the Spread Offense, in particular ours. You dont have to look further than Danario and Maclin. And he is better than both. It just makes too much sense. I think he will make the best decision for him and stay home.

I dunno but I have a hunch he is just trying to be polite to his home state.

But why bring Parents AND Siblings if its just a Courtesy?

I'm very, very confident DGB will be catching passes from Tyler Wilson next year.

To make it appear as more than a courtesy? Who knows.

While I think he will end up at Mizzou, I am starting to get the feeling that not a lot of you Mizzou guys have actually watched an Arkansas game since Petrino has been coach. It's definitely not the same offense you saw in the Cotton Bowl years ago.
Our offense now is perfectly tailored for WR's and TE's that want to go to the NFL. We have one of the few offenses in the country that actually run NFL level option routes all game long. Not just a couple times a game like some teams but on every single passing play. There is a reason why Joe Adams and Jarius Wright have both been praised tremendously at their respective senior bowl games for being the best route runners on their teams.
Over the next couple of years we are going to churn out players to the league. After next season, barring injuries, we will have put 4 WR's and 2 TE's in the league in three years.
Now I don't think it's going to be enough to get over the home state love and pull him away from Mizzou but it's short sighted to say that our offense couldn't maximize his talents to the fullest.

Ask Jameis Winston

Who's pressuring him to stay in-state?

I think the home state thing is being over played a little bit. Springfield is more of a hog town than Mizzou. There are a lot of Arkansas alum teaching at his school. I am confident DGB will be a hog on Wednesday.

To be honest with you I feel that Arkansas would be a really good fit for DGB also. I liked DJ Williams (especially after hearing his story growing up). But the thing us you guys are still much more of a running team than we are. Guys like Knile are going to command the ball. We became more of a running team this season because of the emergence of Josey and the lack of Deep threats we have, but with Josey needing surgery and DGB being the threat we need that would be cured. Thats why I said he would be perfect for us. He would get the ball in his hands plenty. While having a Quarterback that would be there for more than just his Freshman year.

no offense but its not like Petrino's offense is the wishbone, very condusive to WR's.

I acknowledged that. You guys have spread elements in your offense.

some call it a power spread: spread with power running game. we run more pistol than shotgun and rarely run 4 and 5 wide.

We essentially run a pro style offense.
