As much as he has been talking up playing Receiver I doubt he stays at safety. I like our chances between us and TCU, unless the family connection on the Frogs keeps him away from us.

If we don't get DGB it would be a nice plan B.

I think both will be great together.

Wouldnt mind getting Austin Aikens either

DGB to get an in-home visit from Texas this week.

I think this is pretty odd, I feel like no one really knows what this kid is going to do...he's just been a wildcard so far in this recruiting season. But honestly why the frick would he want to go to play for the whorns, they don't have a QB

He might get to play QB for them.

Maybe they are offering the most money.

Mizzou will visit Humboldt,TN DT Tevin Bryson on Thursday. Bryson is an Arkansas St verbal but also has an offer from North Carolina.

With all the new offers going out to d-lineman they are obviously trying to meet a qouta before signing day.

I do think they may be concerned with DL depth. Richardson is coming back, right? I guess you never really know with that kid.

Ya Sheldon will be back. Looking at the current commits it looks like depth for the entire defense was an area of focus.

Oklahoma visited with DGB today.

Sheldon will only be back if he can keep his grades up, god knows how he did first semester and now that he doesn't have football keeping him in line it will be a very telling semester. I mean lets be honest it did take him 2 years in JUCO to get out of there and I heard it was a struggle even to do that. Either way we REALLY need big Shel back.
Onto another topic, it seems like we're really scraping the bottom of the barrel now with offers going out to kids that have offers from teams such as Arkansas St, Howard, and for godsake kU even. This recruiting class is an absolute dumpster fire without DGB (and I'm not holding out much hope for him).

Good point about Sheldon, never know about the guy. If he matures and works hard he's got the talent to be a 1st rounder.

If you look at rivals it is pathetic. Scout and the others have it rated higher. Our recruiting will be fine, remember where this class was ranked before the conference switch.

Outside of Evan Boehm and a couple others, it is pretty weak. But I think we all expected some temporary drawbacks in the recruiting field due to the conference switch. Plus, we've never been a recruiting powerhouse... only room for improvement in my eyes.

What were yalls classes usually like? I know our transition to the SEC killed our recruiting but I figured with SEC branding and Ags coming to SEC yall wouldn't have had much of a drop off.

Before the Conference switch. We had a Top 20 recruiting class. Then everybody left because we wouldnt be playing enough games in Texas. I think with a clean year of knowing where we are going and keeping our Top recruits, we will be fine.
