Hybrid WR/RB and an absolute perfect fit for Drink’s offense. Top 100 player. Drink putting in work!

KId has some serious wheels on that 5'9 frame.

Should've titled this "Mizzou lands #1 Ranked ATH Mookie Cooper"

This kid's got 5 years to play 4. He's essentially an incoming freshman, with a year of prep school.

Damn nice pickup. Why’d he leave OSU?

This is just further proof of how shitty Odom was as a recruiter.

Article from OSU website about him entering transfer portal

Seems like they liked him but couldn't fit him in this year.

I think they're gonna regret not finding him 10-20 touches this year, I feel like the vibe is he would still be there if he'd gotten that.

He is from St. Louis! That helped a lot. Before that Most St. Louis schools for their top players wouldn't let Odom and Mizzou to0 contact their top players. After all that cleaned up things are falling into place. New HC and New President and so forth and now things are looking good for Drinkwitz and Mizzou. Now the pipeline is open again in the St. Louis area and ESL for Mizzou.

Just wasn't going to happen. Not his fault at all. OSU played less games so they didn't have as many total reps to go around. He ended up behind 2 5* in the pecking order from his class, and Olave and Wilson obviously. Just not enough reps to go around.

Wish him absolutely the best of course

Sweet. Offense desperately needed some playmaking speed and athleticism.

reason he left is he wants to play right of way ..good move for him . Ohio St has 10 other Mookie type players ,hard to get on the field as a youngster at THE OSU

Ohio State apparently had like 4 Joe Burrows too and that didn't work out very well for them

That’s fine. Don’t care. Should be a centerpiece for us. So explosive

He's a good one. I have no idea why he went to osu when they had 3 other 5 stars committed.

OSU have been recruiting top St. Louis recruits for a while. Now Drinkwitz is the HC and is starting to bring in some top St. Louis recruits from the transfer portal. Mizzou will be much better in 2 years when Drinkwitz starts getting his players on the field. Mizzou wasn't getting much luck in recruiting top St. Louis recruits under Gary Pinkel and Odom. Gary Pinkel had one good recruiting class and that didn't help improved the recruiting class for the following years. Then Odom made it worst and now Drinkwitz is doing much better than both of them so far. Give 2 more years and depth is the other issues. That is why Mizzou isn't going to be beating top teams in year one. Need to build the program like all other schools that have bad recruiting classes and average to bad HCs. Ole Miss is a good one to watch out for. Kiffin might be the best one to make the difference and then Drinkwitz is next.
