I don't want to hate on this but I just don't think some scout is constantly monitoring this kids development. If scouts actually did what y'all think they do for Jones then there wouldn't be hardly any misses and the star rating would be flawless

24/7 has now sent 5 different scouts to his games that have all written glowing reviews on his performance...none by the name of Paul Jones or directly associated with the MSU 24/7 site. Every time one of those guys see him perform, his ranking has gone up.
I'm not saying that they evaluate every player to the same extent, but they have obviously seen things on film that wowed them enough to travel from all over the southeast to watch him play, which has obviously left an even better impression on them...

If this is true then I have so much respect for those sites and its amazing they are ever wrong.

Jones hasn't played a lot of football and transferred from one small school to another one. This is the first year people have really gotten to see him. If he had been at one school and playing football the entire time, he wouldn't have started out where he did. Stop being so angry and just admit the kid is really good.

All I know is that 3 NATIONAL 247 guys with ZERO MSU affiliation have seen Chris Jones in person and they are all in awe. Barton Simmons, JC Shurbutt, and Keith Nieuber are well known recruiting guys who know a big time recruit when they see one and are unbiased.
