Looks like Malik is trying to walk-on at ole miss with state grants and NIL deals. Don’t blame him would rather walk-on than play on scholly at state

Some of these kids need a better support system. Walking on over a scholly isn’t very smart. But I guess when it’s nfl or bust for most of these kids a degree doesn’t mean shite

so...

....like...

...are you under the assumption that walk-ons can't attend classes?

Surely not...

I’m honestly confused how you even got that from what I said. I believe for a lot of these kids it’s nfl or bust. If he had a better support system and it just wasn’t NFL or bust, he could’ve continued getting a free education instead of spending his NIL money on it just to stay eligible. The dude wasn’t very good at state and is now walking on at Ole Miss. His odds of getting to the NFL are slim.

To be fair, he is trying to get most of tuition paid for through state grants, so he would have to
Spend a minimal amount of NIL money on school

I'll reword my question to you.

Are you under the assumption that he won't be taking classes while at Ole Miss?

This part was obvious.

Explain to us how Malik leaving for Ole Miss instead of staying at MSU means he doesn't give a shite about a degree?

An undergrad degree from Ole Miss or Mississippi state cost relatively the same right? Maybe he felt it was worthwhile to pay for his education somewhere else rather than stay in his current situation. I'd argue paying out of pocket for education means you "care" about your education more than if it were provided to you elsewhere.

If he was leaving a free ride at Stanford to pay for a Mississippi public education then your shitty take would hold more weight.

it truly blows my mind just how absolutely idiotic some people can be.....and then to watch them double, triple, and even quadruple-down on it sustains me.

Yes, because it’s NFL or bust. Which is my whole goddamn point.

Yeah it’s has nothing to do with just staying eligible so he can try and make it to the league.

He still gave away a free ride to pay for it when he’s most likely not making the NFL

The irony of you saying someone doesn't give a shite about their education while being so phenomenally fricking stupid is astounding yet entertaining.
