Just wondering if all the Alabama fans still don't think a downward trend is occurring since the covid NC
That's fine and I don't want to get in between you guys, but can you say that LSU is still trending up after your FSU game?
Maybe. But you seem to be basing your comment on the UA/Texas game but you are ignoring your own game with FSU.
Honestly I think both teams problems are fixable and expect them to be fixed this year, but you both have little margin for error now.

That's a fair rebuttal. I think the Kelly era is still an upward trend from where he took over though. And we may even be improved this year compared to last. Still too early to tell. Tennessee beat the brakes off us last year and FSU may be this year's Tennessee. We did win quite a few games last year by narrow margin.
However, my bump was in regard to the bulk of the discussion - that I was crazy for thinking Alabama may be losing its foothold compared to recent history. They would have to win out at this point to not have this be the worst 3 year stretch since Saban started winning NCs, and I think that's probably a distant improbability at this point.

I do, too. I think the FSU game was an anomaly, and LSU will have a good year.

I don't.
FSU is that good, and LSU is having trouble establishing who should be starting in some positions and how to use those players. Perkins, the entire secondary, every receiver not named Malik, right guard.
State and Mizzou will be decent tests for how LSU is improving.
