Young pups that have a lot to prove. Rasco, Hunter, Freak, Ego need to step up big time. A whole bunch of young, young LB's and DB's.
Will be some growing pains but should be fine.

Love rasco. He's made some plays when he's been in. 2 sacks I think in last years sec cg? He's looked every bit the part when he's gotten a chance.

LSU will be fine on the defensive side of the ball, on offense this should be our most experienced group in a long time. We lose two RBs and are still stacked with four bad asses plus we add a receiver or two.

I truely expect the secondary and LBs to be improved.
Simon didn't have as good a year as a starting CB as a backup the year before. Reid will be the biggest loss back there. Young DBs will develop during offseason workouts, spring practice, summer workouts and fall camp. Young talent is in place, freshman all american CB and freshman all SEC CB for starters.
LBs will be better as a whole. I think Barrow moves to the middle. He went head to head all year with Minter for most tackles. Barrow finished the season with 100+ tackles. I don't know Chavis reasoning but, T Jones after not playing a snap all year started against clemson. Is he just better than all those freshmen? We will see next year. All those freshmen LBs except Granier saw the field this year. They will all IMPROVE over time just like the DBs.
Starters along the front four will be solid. Need to develop depth starting NOW.
LSU's incoming defensive freshmen class is second to none. As a whole no other school has a better collection of new talent at DL, LB and DB.
