Choosing from Louisville, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Wichita State, Florida State, Florida
From Alabama and I think Avery made him a big priority, wonder if that's where this one goes.

He's going to be a very good pickup this late for whoever he chooses. I'm hopeful it's Bama and I would think it looks good for us with Pettway visiting him last week and then Johnson being front and center to watch him play this weekend.

Jerry Meyer throwing in a crystal ball pick for Bama. Have to think the timing is all in the Tide's favor.
Where does Tennessee go for a PG? Collins to A&M, Ennis has eliminated them, Turner likely to Bama. They need one badly.

Avery is straight up killing it on the recruiting trail. Landing Turner would definitely help us salvage next season. Because as of now, I'll be happy if we can even get to the NIT considering what's left on our roster

I wouldn't say nabbing a couple 3-stars and a transfer is killing it but at least he knows he has to get guys in and now. Always frustrating when coaches routinely run "lean" rosters where you have 13 scholarships to give and consistently only have like 9 10 or 11 guys on scholarship. Trent Johnson was absolutely horrible at that.

I had a guy tell me that Alabama still hasn't offered Turner so who knows where he'll be going tomorrow if that's true?

I am pretty sure Auburn isn't a serious option for this kid. The only other recruit I have heard Auburn looking at this this year is a
graduate transfer kid from Providence whose brother played for Pearl at Tennessee

Yeah I don't think Auburn has offered either. If Alabama hasn't offered, I would think his only choices are UT and Wichita because I think the UF, FSU, and UL offers were all from a few years ago.

Dug deeper on Lamont Turner & his decision tomorrow. Doesn't look like Alabama is even an option. Still digging.
I guess we're definitely out. He was a guy I was really hoping we'd land because we need one more guy for guard depth.

Odd, if Bama's & AU are not willing to take him that says something to me about him as a prospect.

There's conflicting info on whether Bama's offered. Scholarships are low for the 2016 class, so it makes better sense to use the last 2 scholarships this class on 1-year transfers. Unless Turner has really exploded recently, I hope we do.

If it isn't grades it has to be numbers because I would think that he is a take. Really good player. I bet they wish he would've stayed in the 2016 class.

Never pay attention to Meyer for CB's, dude just blindly picks a bunch of teams for everyone now. He picked 7 different times for Malik Newman, SEVEN.

I like Meyer but at times the crystal ball does get abused Russ Wood of rivals said Turner is going to Bama. So a lot of people say we haven't offered and one guy says he's a done deal to Bama. Recruiting makes no sense. I guess we'll see around 1

Confusing recruitment for Lamonte Turner, but a very reliable source confirmed Tuesday morning that he has no committable Alabama offer.
So two people from the same site are saying completely opposite things. I'll go with Cecil on this one

It's going to be awkward for him if he commits to Bama and really doesn't have an offer. I'd feel bad for him.
