I edited for grammar, you took out your entire post... I wasn't being an a-hole and my entire response under your edited post was in response to that one you made.

Why are you so frickin defensive?

Second basemen don't get picked high in the draft, especially ones out of HS.

Roger, can I get you (or whoever made your sig) to make one for me? I want it to have the # and all, but I want it to say "We Run This shite" because that's what I secretly think the recruits are saying with it. They just happen to be novel young gentleman and don't put the cuss word in there. I however find the offensive language better.

Thanks!

That wouldn't be a bad thing. Russell was an incredible leader for the team and a hard worker. He was a big part of our recruiting success that year. Sure, I'd rather a Johnny Manziel, but getting a Russell Shepard every year would be a coup for any program.

Agreed. I am very happy that he chose LSU but I think he would have thrived in a different system.

Same skill set and attributes although Shepard is 2 inches taller with more straight line speed and Murray is a bit quicker. Shep was a good Tiger but would have done much better in a different program with a wide open offense working at QB. Murray is everything that Shep could have been in the right offense.

The knock on Shepard was his accuracy and his mechanics. Although he had a successful career, he was definitely under utilized at LSU. I really wish Cam would have been able to work with RS.

Well if those were russels knocks, Kyler is no russel. Kyler had better mechanics this season than Shepard ever had throughout college. It's fact.

Not sure of his # but Jaylen Guyton is a very solid wr. He is committed to Notre Dame. I remember asking all last year who is this kid.I looked him up and he wasn't on any of the sites. Then I heard he committed to Notre Dame early this year.

The Desoto vs Allen game in the playoffs was a great watch. Kyler is one hell of a qb.
