Can you go in depth on what his strategy is? What numbers he isn't willing to go too.

I think that would be interesting to know how a coach views those things. I think Kirby and Brian Kelly are similar in their approach.

Only certain positions will get x amount of nil dollars.

I think the highest we've gone for a recruit is $500,000. Supposedly we told KJ he could make 3 mil after his first year of starting and he took the immediate money.

According to this, you are tied for second as far as NIL goes........

You know that is them guessing the NIL value, right? They don't have the actual numbers. They are just guessing.

because UGA not only gets the high ranked players but also coaches them up while also developing lower ranked players

For instance-
- Jordan Davis
- Javon Bullard
- Ladd McConkey

Also the mantra SEC Rant and opposing fanbases loved to shove down UGA and Kirby’s throat for 6 yrs was…

“Yeah UGA can get 4-5 star talent on campus but they cannot win a Natty and they cannot develop the talent.”

Would cite UGA not having a lot of high draft picks.
This is delusion... you have one of the top two most talented rosters in the country every year. With that talent level you should be in the title conversation every year. Don't pretend UGA is some kind of underdog that's "coaching em up" to make the playoffs like a TCU or a Cincy.

Did your uncle Rico tell you this?

JFC. Do AU fans even bother to read any more? We’re saying that we still take lower rated players and develop them into great players. No one is saying UGA is taking all two and three star players and winning championships. We’re saying we bring in a ton of talent but also develop lower rated players too.

Mom wanted the up front bag.
Dad was more UGA

Was told KJ showed class and called Kirby to tell him - was told it was a very emotional phone call for the kid.

Top 3. On paper Bama and Ohio State's rosters are rated higher.

That's what I'd expect. KJ's a good kid and his parents are good folks. Do think his heart is with UGA but mama is right- nothing is guaranteed, get the $$ while you can.

I expect the kid to stick with FSU - but if he did flip, it would be a Kirby special, not a Freeze out

Lmao of course we read but we also call out your BS. Saying UGA is some top talent developer is nonsense. 3*s getting drafted out of UGA is survivorship bias of those guys making it through the grind of actually getting a start against mostly 4 and 5 star talent...

If you want to make the claim that more 3*s get drafted out of UGA than other top SEC teams then provide evidence but you're going to need to look at draft results, HS star rating, and what schools they went to... but you're not going to do that.

You actually believe that you can just recruit your way to winning and the rest will just happen.

I never said that. I said we develop defensive talent better than the current AU staff. Which they do. But you'll never admit it because in your eyes, all they have to do is bring in talent and everything else just falls in line. It worked out so well for AM a few years ago.

Edit: 3 stars or less drafted from UGA under Kirby.

Stetson Bennett
Chris Smith
Kenny McIntosh
Jordan Davis
Justin Shaffer
Eric Stokes
Tre McKitty
Solomon Kindley
Tae Crowder
Deandre Baker
Javon Wims

OK now do the rest of the SEC over the same timeframe or pipe down.

So UGA only has average player development in the SEC according to you now. I'll take the progress!

Then go pull the 3* or worse drafted off of teams Auburn's coaching staff was at over Kirby's tenure or pipe down.

Over that same time frame, they've developed 3 players who were 3 stars or less on the defensive side. Congrats
