He will not have to face double teams next year at UT.

Yes he would. You have talent at WR, but you don't have a guy the caliber of Hunter/Rogers. There is simply no way for defenses to cover the trio we will put out there and Patterson knows that.
Plus your offense hasn't shown they can throw the ball in years. Les has been wasting WR talent for a long time. You currently don't have a proven QB, you have a guy that is getting the hype and should produce, but you never know til they get out there.
