Ha, you seriously underestimated us UGA fans and your troll boy Jed. It has very little to do with Malone tbh,, much like Clemson's fugly campus. I was just enjoying the convo about the qb development.

Malone is going to UT or Clemson. UGA is not getting him. I don't even know why UGA fans are here trying to clown.

I think you're a pretty level headed UGA poster so I'm not directing this at you, but it's hard to have a conversation about that when you've got a couple of UGA dumbass in here spewing bullshite that UT hasn't had a good QB since Manning.
This also has nothing to do with Malone so maybe they should start a thread about QB development on the rant and take their circlejerk elsewhere.

Thanks for your input. A few days ago he was a lock to UT in your opinion and now Clemson is a player. Interesting.

Thanks man. When is he signing again?

We all know the answer is zero. He's also coached at two mid level schools that attract zero big recruits before he came to UT.
Oh yeah, this is absolutely an excuse. We all know that EVERY NFL QB was a big recruit from a big school like UT. Right, Andy Dalton? You agree, Case Keenum? Chime in here, Ben Rothlisberger? How about you, Joe Flacco? What's that, Colin Kaepernick?
...I can keep going if my point hasn't been made...

I've been wondering for 2 pages what any of this has to do with Malone? All I said was that UGA has question marks behind Mason just like Tennessee has question marks with Ferg and Dobbs. I didn't think this would turn into a QB development pissing contest with you UGA posters.
The point is our question marks aren't very big and smart money says that at least one of these guys will turn out to be a big time college QB. Mason appears to be more than capable, if not a star. He at least appears far superior to Worley and Dobbs. UT isn't playing with quite the same hand, as much as some would like to delude themselves.
It has been referenced many times with Malone that the QB situation at a school is a big deal to him. That is the whole reason the conversation started.
As for Malone, I said it in my first post, IMO he is going to go to UT. He is already signed, sealed and delivered. The only glimmer of hope that UGA fans have is that his dad is a military man, usually they have sharper bullshite dectectors and a better moral compass, and Josh seems like an intelligent kid.
If these things are indeed true, UGA will be a happy team when he announces. If they are not true, then UT or Clem will be the happy fans.

It's just fun. I hate that UGA won't get him, but at least he'll be at UT where he will never really hurt us either.

I'll just have to assume that me and you have VERY different thresholds for "good QB play" vs "serviceable QB play".

I never said. Reading comprehension, dumbass. There's always exceptions to the rules, but I don't recall many 5* QB signing a LOI to Central Michigan or Cincinnati.

Or you can just go jerkoff to your Joe Cox poster and GTFO of my thread.

And there you go again. Implying that if only Butch had some 5 stars, he would have put multitudes of guys in the NFL.
Yet, plenty of coaches have put lots of Superbowl winning QBs in the NFL from schools even lower on the pecking order than Central Michigan.
You're the one needing work on that reading comprehension my friend.
Butch will get Malone, enjoy that fantastic set of WRs, perhaps they'll finally win you guys a road game? Since that hasn't happened since Dooley's first year and all.

You're so misinformed that it truly is pitiful. Go look at David Greene's stats then compare to Clausen or Ainge. Hell, Tyler fricking Bray's numbers absolutely destroy Stafford's.

Which really makes an effective argument for how one can try to make stats say anything and why Clausen and Ainge are not as good as Greene (who I don't think was a fantastic QB anyway, just a fricking winner like McCarron is).
Would any sane human being actually prefer having Tyler Bray as their QB to Matt Stafford? Perhaps we should actually make a poll thread on this...
BTW, as for Joe Cox, he sucked. He was one of those guys that looks like a superstar in practice and sucks on Gameday. Still I don't know what our coaches were thinking there.

I didn't imply anything. A lot of coaches have had many highly rated QBs that never did jack shite in the NFL or make the NFL period, just look at Mark Richt for example.

So stats don't matter now, right. Greene was the better QB because he played on a better team. That makes sense. I'm sure you think Terry Bradshaw is a top 5 QB all time too.

Once again, reading comprehension. I never said Bray was better. You're the one that said UT hasn't had a good QB since Manning. I'm just showing multiple examples of UT that have been better, statistically, than some of these Gods from Athens that you have on a pedestal.

Eh, Stafford was just keeping his arm warm until the NFL called.

this thread sucks now.

Dec 4th
Early Enrollees do not sign LOI's. Malone is announcing December 4th, but he won't sign an LOI with anyone, he can't.
He will simply enroll with the school of his choosing, should be official the last week of December or early January depending on the school's academic calendar.
Technically this isn't over until then, but Malone has a good family and support system. I think whoever he chooses on the 4th will be the one he sticks with.
