Neat stories!
Stoval has always been a favorite of mine. When I was little our dentist (In Baton Rouge) was closed on Saturdays, but would take my dad and brothers and me for a checkup and cleaning. While he worked we would all listen to LSU football games. My cousin went to LSU and got to know a lot of the players. She got a team autographed football for us for Christmas one year.
Now, I am almost ashamed to tell people I was once a LSU fan. My brother is still a rabid LSU fan.
I knew there was something I liked about you, scrooster. I worked in radio for a bit, too. Not long. About 3-4 years. We have a few things in common. We are old, crusty and worked in radio for a bit.
Fwiw...I have no problem with them melting a bit. I just don't like it when fans start acting like they are better than other peopel.
