So what actually happened?
How do you go from a starting corner -- to buried on a depth chart at your deepest position -- and view it as an upgrade?
I clearly stated I don't know what's going on. At best he would be our 5th best receiver imo so idk anyone who views the move as an upgrade. It's just all bizarre and idk what to make of it right now. Im not going to call Jones a bust at corner though because I've seen him in person shut down great receivers. Again, I just don't know.

Every practice Ward spent at TE was a wasted opportunity to get better at his real position.
amazing that he showed out at DE then, isn't it?
also....good job taking info that says "DJ is taking snaps at WR in practice" and spinning it to "DJ has moved to WR". More engie making up shite and throwing it against the wall....

Still practicing at OL. He's never played that position before....It doesn't matter how much raw talent you have if you've never practiced that position before. And yes...he is still working with the OL in practice.

because, for whatever reason, people are reading "he practiced at WR" as "he permanently moved to WR".
The two aren't the same.

I'd be sad too if I had argued from your side.

When? You gave up 140 yards rushing to a team that couldn't throw the ball down the field.

How much time do you think you have to practice every day? The kid still isn't seasoned as a corner. Funny people remember him "shutting down" Evans and Landry without remembering what De'Runnya did to him in the Egg Bowl once Dak was in...
Also, link to where he's still on D and "just taking snaps"? Since I'M the one that's "making up shite and throwing it against the wall"...

You are dumb asses that are somewhat endangering his future by not redshirting him and letting him fully acclimate to the position then. And again, how much time do you think you have in practice to just bounce guys all over the field?
If you are playing musical positions with guys -- it comes into focus pretty quickly why you looked so damn out of sync on Thursday.
Bottom line -- it's year 3. And you are still hodgepodging shite together like it was year 1. You told us CONSTANTLY under Mullen that there was no excuse to not have sufficient depth all across the field by year 3. And here you are one injury away from disaster at corner and OL and playing quite a few guys out of position in a manner that does not make sense.

we pass rushed the frick out of them and it burned us in the run game. You don't know that much about football so it doesn't surprise me that you can't see this. We were without our starting nose guard and our best tackler when he went out in the 1st or 2nd BSU drive. They ran up the middle while we crashed the outside. We picked our poison that that we wouldn't give up any big plays and they got us with a bunch of dunk passes and draw plays. But you probably don't know what any of that means.

link to him officially moving? You're the one claiming he did. He's still listed as a DB. But you obviously have the inside scoop on him officially moving to WR that our coaches haven't seen yet. Might want to tweet @HughFreeze and give him the heads up.

Well thank you, Captain Obvious. I guess it's a good thing that our coaches realize we have an easy stretch of games + a bye week to equal a solid month before we play bama.

Why are you obsessed with OM?
ETA: I know why. I should have asked HOW you became SO obsessed with OM?

Engie, pls. You know we were missing all 3 LB's.

Who? You were missing one LB.

Yet you only got there 3 times? And gave up damn near an 80% completion percentage?

Nice excuses. Down 2 starters? What about all that elite depth you've got?
I know exactly what it means. I also know elite defenses don't have to "pick their poison". Especially not against mediocre teams.
So -- did you get after the QB allowing the run game to open -- or did you play soft and try to prevent big plays? Those are two very different things and require a polar opposite approach on defense. Typical Pank post talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Denzel, Bird, and Keith Lewis.
Posted on 9/3/14 at 1:39 pm to SouthMSReb
Keith Lewis came in for Bird and played the whole game.

"Bird" was playing while Boise racked up the majority of their yards early. Hardly consequential he went stupid and got tossed. Keith Lewis, who was backing Bird, and is far from one of your top 3 LBs -- played the whole game after Bryant's ejection and had 7 tackles.

Keith Lewis came out during the 4th quarter due to cramping.
Bird was ejected during the second drive of the game.

No he came out and Taylor Polk filled in for him.
Posted on 9/3/14 at 1:46 pm to engie
So most of Boise's yards came in the first quarter?
