Is this from the same source that said that Bama "threw the kitchen sink" at Justin Cox? How do you know how much other teams recruit your commits?

You don't know how hard other teams come after your commits -- especially when those commits show interest? You didn't know Bama was chasing CJ Hampton? Didn't know about Speaks and LSU?

Fact -- Bama went much harder after Justin Cox than they went after Chris Jones. Cox visited them twice in the weeks before JUCO signing day -- including a trip the day of/day before that absolutely scared the shite out of us.

Weird that our DB unit was ranked #1 for this upcoming season, but you guys keep trying to find something. You guys will break it down to comparing 2 walk-on CB's, if all 6 of our CBs were better than y'alls. Y'all literally break down each walk-on in an attempt to say MSU's is better.

No need to break down anything.

That's what's so funny about an engie thread, is that he throws out shite that is completely unverified, and expects us to take his word for it, but gets so damn annoyed when someone else does it.

What's really funny is how you blindly believe/follow every argument that the dumbasses on your side make in this discussion. Many of which aren't even shrouded in reality. You do a great job of being a pawn though.

Yeah, you totally don't give a shite. Your posting history certainly suggests as much.

Well bama fans know who Hampton is. LSU fans know who speaks is. Their recruiting mods told them about those players because those programs wanted those players. The "fact" that bama fans do not know who Cox is proves that wasn't as big a target as you like to think. I'm sure they made a push at the end and JUCO recruiting isn't as out in the open as HS, but to say it's a fact that bama wanted Cox more than Jones (recruitment wasn't normal) an it's a fact that we wanted Shumpert as bad as you promise us is giving yourself some sort of all knowing persona that you expect us to believe is real.

lulz

You fancy yourself some sort of hard hitting analyst when your arguments are so ridiculous and self-serving.

You also shoot out shite that you can in no way verify and then get upset when people don't believe you, particularly when recruiting is involved. Case in point: pretty much everything you've said about Derrick Jones.

Oh, and this is rich coming from an EliteDawgs poster.

For a board that is for "everything Mississippi State," y'all sure love to talk about Ole Miss.

This thread =

Jones was begging for an offer the whole time.

This isn't true at all. I rarely post like 'I know it all' because I don't but in this specific case, I do. Derrick Jones may have told State commits he wanted to join them while playing in the MS/AL game, I don't know because I wasn't standing there. But he never begged for a State offer and never cared about the State offer. He was going to Ole Miss.

That is all.

My biggest issue. And even to this day, when that kid in his first every start at CB, ever in his entire careeer of football, shuts down Mike Evans, then shuts down OBJ. You were told something that you believed to be true and even if muffin told you himself, that doesn't make it true.

You honestly believed that? Because 2 trolls in this forum played that card?

So you are saying that you didn't want Shumpert and didn't chase the hell out of him until the very end -- even implying multiple times that he was either in/on his way to Oxford for the big recruiting weekend?

I love how you take everything I've said in response to a bunch of different comments, lump it together, then try to draw analogies. I didn't say Bama WANTED Cox more than Jones -- I said they recruited him harder. Two different things. I know plenty about what's going on with MSU recruits.

Why would I care if you believe it or not? Doesn't matter now -- he went to Ole Miss. Maybe he wins the Egg once -- maybe he doesn't. Who knows?
