It's only two. Haselwood went on his own. Funny how nobody says anything about a kid who drops his commitment, but wants to burn down a school who does this. A kid decommits and it's it's, "Oh, well.", A school decides to move on and the school is wrong.
Kids move on all the time, and some of those are probably instigated by the school, but kept private.

There is a 3rd commit that should decommit as well. My guess is Truss, but it shouldn't be too long until that goes public. I wouldn't be surprised if we have another decommitment among our dlinemen as well. The bottom line is we are in great shape for a number of higher ranked kids and are making room. I can't wait to see how this class ends up.

Wait. We told a teammate of Pappoes to hold off....he signed with Alabama, so Pappoe signed with Auburn because we told a him to hold off on committing to us? That doesn't make sense.

Yes we told Harris to hold off even though he wanted to commit to UGA. Harris then committed to Alabama a bit later and that did hurt us with Pappoe. Harris blew up some and showed a lot of improvement between when he wanted to be a Dawg and his commitment to Alabama. It happens. That still doesn't mean we won't get Pappoe in the end (right now Auburn is a dumpster fire).

Pappoe is gonna go where Watson wants him to go, and isn't there some beef between UGA and Grayson, or am I misremembering?

It's not so much a beef with Grayson as it is Watson thinks kids should all go to school out of state for a new experience, or something like that. At least that's what he's said publicly. Although his kid (Texas commit) just visited UGA so who knows.

If AU were to lose Pappoe, UGA would be in the driver's seat or close. It's not like a GA kid commits to Auburn because they're looking to explore the world.

Anyone who followed Pappoe’s recruitment are aware of the the Harris situation. OP’s mentor, Kenyatta Watson, went public with this information to Dawgnation the day after OP committed to Auburn.
