Also, whatever team's 247 site you pay for you can post on the message board of their Scout affiliate.

No idea. I assume it works though.
I got a Scout account a few months ago when they were running a special for 6 months at only $9. I just called to cancel that subscription and my confirmation email was from 247 so I'm assuming they are one and the same now. Each team just has two different sites.

Yes. CBS bought Scout and all the boards are in the process of merging into 1.

I've already noticed a few of our so called "insiders" have disappeared since the merger. They posted on our Scout board and were protected by the mods when people called them out on their bullshite.
Posters on 247 would eat them alive if they tried that shite over there and they know it. I'm serious. Guys who craved attention and started 4-5 threads a day have dropped off the face of the Earth.

This is good to know. I'm almost completely out on following football recruiting anymore. It's just hard to enjoy.
But I still follow baseball recruiting quite a bit and LSU's scout site covers it from time to time. This may make me rethink cancelling my 247 membership.
