Stars dont matter. I'd rather have a bunch of 4 stars anyway.

The difference is that Bateman has a strong accurate arm.Also Mett is about as mobile as a one legged midget.Bateman got dem wheels son.

Like I said, he's not a bad QB, but not a 5 star. He's what Saban wants at QB, a good game manager, but nothing special.

I did. You said its all coaching and development. Thats not all it is. A lot of it is talent.

Marginal difference between a 4 and 5 star. If any at all. If you have a good coaching staff and weight training program it means absolutely nothing

Yes they were. But, your chances of having great players dramatically increase if you recruit already great players (5*'s).
The NFL draft proves it every year. A MUCH MUCH MUCH higher % of 5*'s get drafted than 4*'s or below. MUCH higher

Some of the greatest players in CFB were lowly rated coming out of HS. i'm done here
