Evans brother was given incentives last time he was on the Texas campus - that is why he reacted so terribly about it on Twitter. One of the moronic. boosters bragged about it to the wrong people, and there are several schools that are going to the NCAA. That along with USC's accusations of tampering where McCoy is concerned could make things interesting.

Nothing will come of it IMO, because Texas has friends in the NCAA. But it's why his brother was so upset about the accusations. Texas isn't getting Evans though - he will end up at LSU, UGA or some school that will actually USE him. The leading rusher for the horns, and all of Herman's teams is the QB.

Fisher probably didn't help when he declared shortly after all this that A&M will only recruit through the school or coach ... the timing of that announcement was not a coincidence. I would be very surprised if Evans ever makes it to the A&M campus again, with his brother running things for him ...

You’re not helping your case when you make inaccurate statements like this. Texas had two RBs outrush Ehlinger this year.

One. Ehlinger had 164 carries, which was more than all other players except for Tre Watson, who had 185.

By comparison, Kellen Mond had 149 carries, compared to Trayveon Williams' 271.

I thought outrush referred to yards. That seems like it would make the most sense to me. Also QB rushes can be misleading in college because they include all sacks.

Also, A&M’s top 2 backs had 332 carries. Texas’ top 2 backs had 327 carries.

That is aggy for you.

The big selling point for Zach Evans and his family at Texas is Drayton.
Plus both of Ohio St's OC's when they had Zeke Elliot are at Texas

I can say Jimbo was caught sucking off Craig in the locker room after the LSU game.

Anything can be said on the internet.

I think what I say is more believable because the culture around College Station.

A&M has skeletons in the closet right now.
That is why Jimbo is going to be careful.

Don't want to end to up like Oklahoma after they took AP and Bomar.

He’s making dumb comments but you’re not looking like Einstein with some of the ridiculous things you’ve said ITT.

EVERY team cheats - most just aren't stupid enough to brag about it in a room with a lot of boosters and lawyers. But, that is the Herman longhorns. They don't seem to care about anything these days but running their mouths about how great they are.

Honestly, I would agree with the braggart that the horns can buy whoever they want.

NCAA is spineless, and will never take down one of its favored sons. And yes, before the inevitable question is asked, I have spoken to the A&M compliance office already. Doubt anything comes of it

I was told someone did, but I won't take the credit. I'm honestly too old to have thought about doing so. Even if there was video, the NCAA would STILL do nothing.

Now, if it was Missouri, it would probably be the death penalty or something along those lines

Something easily proven wrong? Such as, "Majors usually command Battalions"?

Unless you're Alabama you need a absolute stud QB more than a RB to win championships (Newton, Winston, Watson, Lawrence).

Evans is a great prospect, but I'm more excited about possibly having Malik Hornsby develop under Jimbo

Preston Stone is another level.

I would be happy to see aggy throw all in on Hornsby.
Stone lines up perfectly for Texas has Ehlinger as two years remaining.
