This, and I hope the rumors of him sticking with S over CB are true. I said a few pages back that I'm not ready to throw in the towel on Hootie just yet, but I think he eventually slides to OLB in Chavis's system. We desperately need safety prospects that could play CB, not LB.

He also said safety at one point, and that he's crosstrained to play any DB position. I think it all depends on the depth going into spring ball. I'd love to see him step into a Reid type role with Brown and Toliver on the way at CB.

How did this thread go from being about Hootie to LSU fans talking about their other DBs. Don't you guys have your own board for that.
I understand it will hurt for him to not commit to LSU if he does commit to UA. But save the make yourself feel better post for LSU recruiting board.
And yes LSU will have a great DB haul with or without Hootie.

Now wait a minute. I thought only LSU fans post negative/conspiracy types of posts on message boards. When grades comments were posted about Eddie Lacy in HS we were stupid and butthurt. We are the only ones that accuse other schools of foul play.
