UF peeps... All trolling aside, any actual insights as to why? Dunno if UF insiders have gotten Intel on what's going on here... Always an outside shot at family stuff that leads to these, even in the modern climate of transferring for playing time.
ETA: just saw corresponding thread on SECr... Have been tied up on work shite... Apologies for the repeat but question stands to UF peeps...

Apparently he got into trouble. Comparing him to Fields is a bit of a stretch though. Jones future was probably at WR here. Fields was an actual loss for you guys.

One got in trouble,if reports are to be believed. The other, well, he was an Underwear Olympics/Camp/ESPN creation, that was never what his rating said he was. Neither was because of coaching.

So Florida fans made up a story about this kid getting in serious trouble to cover for the fact that their fourth highest rated recruit bailed before even making it to his first fall camp? All of this after their coach ran his mouth and gloated over Fields transferring?

We don’t know the story, how are we making anything up? We just know it wasn’t because of the depth chart. Also Jalon Jones was going to be a WR here, Fields leaving actually affected y’all. So laugh if you want I guess. Won’t help you in Jacksonville.

Seriiously? Fields had more passing attempts and probably played more than any of UF's backup QBs.
Yes, more than Trask.
