I hope Malzahn leaving has no affect on TJ Yeldon.

I don't think it will. He has a good relationship with all of the offensive coaches and Chizik. He likes Auburn in general. I'm not saying it definitely won't happen, but I don't see him decommiting because of Malzahn

TT, you're acting like Malzhan and Roof are already gone. Have I missed something?

Evan Boehm seemed to really like his visit.
.
"I got to see walk-throughs Friday morning and then I went to the hotel and saw Charles Barkley," said Boehm. "Thirty minutes later I saw Erin Andrews at the table next to me and then 30 minutes later I saw Bo Jackson checking in. That was a lot of fun.

"On Saturday, I saw the campus and (ESPN College) Gameday. The football atmosphere is just nuts. Tiger Walk, I've never seen anything like that."

One of his player hosts was Vance Smith, which I thought was kind of weird.. he must be still helping out the football team.

He walked at graduation. He has been working as a "student coach" type role since he got injured.

I don't have specific reason but I think we locked up Kwon this weekend.

Two ways for recruits to have taken that game:
1) damn, au needs my help. I can play early
2) damn, au needs tons of help. Not sure I want to be part of rebuilding. I want to win

Depends on personality of the kid. Most kids "now-a-days" think they can play wherever from day one, just play more some places than others.

FWIW - I think AU gets Kwon. I've heard that Bama feels good on Goldman, and still feels they arent wasting time with Yeldon (didnt say he'd flip, but staff thinks they have a shot).

The fact that we've been playing so many young guys, I think most recruits see the talent that is there, however inexperienced, and that there is definitely a bright future near. however, I do agree with you.

The fact that Goldman stayed an extra night is definitely promising, but he is going to be a tough pull for sure.

The talk down here in Baldwin County is that if Gus leaves he will de-commit and look hard at Lsu & Bama but will probably stick with Au 59%

TJ played travel basketball with several OB/GS boys who I know really well. They keep up, could be BS time will tell.

I've played baseball with him, and played against him in football and basketball. I've kept in touch with him some. If he decommits, which I don't think he will, he's going to Bama. He's never had interest in LSU
