We knew about Godchaux the night before NSD. Everyone knew he was being heavily-recruited by OM and Barn. The fact that we flipped him briefly shouldn't be too shocking or crazy.
The majority of your own fanbase knew he was flaky and accepts what happened. It's not a big deal.
We've heard ad nauseum a few hours before his announcement from LSU fans how he was an "unloyal to Louisiana", "a POS", and "he would never be the same after his injury". I understand the fan mindset. Fans never change.
You keep bargaining enough and perhaps your own viewpoint will be validated.

I have no idea. I'm just telling you the first time any of that stuff came out. I will tell you that before 7am on NSD he went and put the LSU stuff under the signing table.
