A year of experience at quarterback means a lot, and Cook is actually gonna have something to throw to besides a single slot receiver.

Cook is terrible
Lovett could only play the slot. Lovett is weak tried him on the outside couldn’t beat the jam. Wease was the starting X WR for OU he can beat the jam and this will allow Burden to play on the line and in the slot and get more touches.

That’s what they hope to improve upon this next year.
With a 2* or 3 * quarterback. Next year the offense will be much better and that is why this year was just to let this one ride it out and we still manage to beat South Carolina and Arkansas. Do not let this year offense based on the quarterback playing next year. Quarterback has improved over the course of the season. If he continues to improve including the bowl game, he might be the starter next year. That is why one way or the other there will be someone to get the offense going next year. This season the offense struggled to get the passing game going early on, it has improved lately. Next year should be much better whoever is the starting quarterback.
