With Grier leaving, might have re-opened the door for Florida.

Can EE's sign their LOI in Dec.? Of course juco's can as we all know but a buddy of mine told me even EE's can't sign their LOI til NSD, only paperwork that can be signed is the FA agreement.

If Haskins goes anywhere other than Maryland it will be to Ohio State.

Early Enrollees are on campus at the start of the semester in January and compete in workouts from January through Spring practice. They are a part of the roster as soon as they are enrolled in school. So in short, yes they sign before NSD. They are complete students and like any other player if they enroll early.

They can't but it doesn't matter because they are already enrolled and going to class prior to NSD.

Edit: already answered, sorry

This is true but it's important to point out when it becomes binding. Franks has signed his grant in aid but he even if he enrolls he is not officially bound to UF until he attends a class, which becomes his LOI. I think his mind is made up and he sticks, but Gunner Kiel showed LSU just how important the distinction between scheduling a class and attending it are in terms of the rules.

Franks has got to feel sort of like shite.

1) He commits. The hardons from gator fans almost rip their jorts...but the honeymoon period is soon over. Literally like a day later.
2) Florida tries to flip Eason. Jacob and his dad say Florida told them they felt Jacob was best QB in country, and they want him.
3) Florida recruits now making Haskins feel like their leader, even though currently committed to another program.

Come on gators. Love the one ya got. In the immortal words of Big Sean, they grass isn't greener on the other side, it's green where you water it.

I love Franks, honestly. I still can't figure out how the ratings services can simultaneously call him one of the top prospects this year and a "project". If you are as project then how can you be so highly rated? I don't get it.

I think Mac likes Franks too, but as ya'll saw this year and we saw with Grier, you never can have to many QBs and you never know what's going to happen with them when they are on roster, whether it be injury, just not panning out, or roids(WTF??!!??). You gotta have competition.

Mac must have seen the writing on the wall, because even I couldn't fully understand why we went so hard after Eason after the Franks flip. Now Im pretty sure Mac knew the whole time.

Mac's looking for guys that want to compete, and I think Frank's does and should turn out well.

Thats exactly what we did. We'll find out whether that one's going to bite us in the arse. I bet the staff never makes that mistake again. frickin "integrity" and "commitment" my frickin arse. Salty.

Think you're giving him a little too much credit here

Yeah, no.

LSU rolled the red carpet out for Franks to the point that they ceased recruiting all other QB prospects because he didn't like it, and he's now a Florida Gator.

You should sign as many top QBs as possible and let it sort itself out once they're on campus.

Mac needs to learn from Sumlin that high profile QB's are like girlfriends. He's gonna mess around and screw up with both of them and end up with Treon Harris
