Bama does offer immediate playing time to DB next year. Bama is losing everybody in the secondary after this season.

This is true. LSU signed the number 1, 3, and 9 safeties last year. We also have a former number 1 safety in the country on the roster. I understand Joseph's decision since he can get on the field quicker at Bama. Not saying Bama doesn't recruit at a very high level at safety, it just so happens that Bama's roster lines up favorably for him this year.

We are, that's why we have 2 number 1 safeties in there respectable classes already on the roster.

From what I can tell he's an Ohio State lean.

I would be shocked if he didn't sign with USC.

Good player. Ferocious hitter. If y'all want him I think you land him.

Wait, What??? I thought LSU was DBU??????
You do realize that we lead for the #1 DB in the entire class right? Also we signed 3 of the top 5 safeties last year. He'll get on the field at Bama much sooner, it's a smart decision IMO.

I hope so, would really put a bow on the secondary class with Proctor, Woodbey and Banks (and Campbell if they can somehow get him). I agree he seems to be a huge lean to OSU and Texas seems to be the prime competition not LSU. Surtain is likely LSUs to lose right now for sure

Um... some people get nervous about our depth. We still got like 3 high profile guys interested and we are on track to sign the #1 CB

I agree with most of that but this year will bring a few surprises

I sure hope LSU gets a couple of 300 lb+ surprises

I'm pretty sure Campbell doesn't even know where he's going at this point. He can literally end up at 4-5 different schools at this point

He has 4 different crystal ball predictions and some foggy, no one will know where he is going until signing day.

Yeah, he does.

The one pick for LSU was made by an Auburn mod almost 2 years ago.

Two of the last four have been for Alabama, one from an Alabama mod and the other from Demetric Warren.

The other two are Foggy and they came from Shea Dixon and a Miami mod.

I like where Alabama stands with him as of now. At least two of our recruiting sites are including him in their class projections.

The LSU 247 site didn't have him in LSU's class when they posted it yesterday.

They did have Surtain in it though so it seems we both will come out just fine.

I get where you are coming from but he can literally go on an OV and say positive things about it and get crystal balls from that as well. We still got some months to go with him and all indications I've seen don't point to a commitment any time soon.

Lsu has no chance with him, but I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at Bama, Clemson, Ohio state or even Miami.
