For us that keep up with recruiting, post who you anticipate to fill the remaining open spots.

For LSU, the following:

We feel good about these 2:

Marcus Dumerville 4 Star OT LINK
Phillip Webb 4 Star OLB LINK

Hopeful:
Zach Evans 5 Star #1 RB in the Nation. Seems to be down to LSU and A&M and no one knows what this kid is thinking. LINK
Ty'Kieast Crawford 4 Star OT and form Arky Commit. Said to be a grade risk. I feel LSU has inside track in they can get him eligible. Can Sm Pittman bring him back to Arky? Wouldn't count Pitmann out against a single OL in the country. LINK

So you are saying there's a chance?:
Jordan Burch 5 Star SDE... I think LSU has as good a shot as anyone to land him. LSU, UGA, SC, and Clemson all mentioned. LINK
McKinley Jackson 4 Star DT.. no idea where this guy ends up. Would be huge for Kiffin to keep him home. I know we want him bad. LINK
Sedrick Van Pran 4 Star Center currently committed to UGA.. Sam Pittman leaving may help LSU win out in the end. Will be one to watch LINK

Others mentioned:

Edgerrin Cooper 4 Star OLB LINK
Donovan Kauffman 3 Star Safety and current Vandy Commit. This guys tape is like watching the Honey Badger LINK

Should note we will lose Malcolm Greene. Apparently he has already notified the staff he will be going to Clemson LINK

One to possibly keep an eye on is the recent Oregon decommit Avantae Williams LINK Not sure who the major players are right now.

Rumors of 5 Star WR Rakim Jarret LINK and 4 Star WR Jermain Burton LINKflirting with Bama and UGA, respectively. I am hopeful we keep both.

Anyways, that's what LSU's board seems to look like. Always excited to see who inks with our schools.

Currently with 22 commits.

Hoping to keep all 22 and add the following:

DT McKinnley Jackson or LB Eggerin Cooper
one of RB EJ Smith or Zach Evans

With Javonne Shepherd transferring from t.u. and Braeden Mowry, who committed last year, finally getting his grades in order, the only way we would have more room is if Kenneth Phillips grayshirts and/or Jordan Jefferson doesn't make grades.

Jase Mclellan- RB from Texas is rumored to be flipping to Bama

JJ Pegues- Jumbo TE from MS was thought to be an auburn lean as of yesterday, but the mood has changed today and now the word is bama lean- this indicates to me that Washington is signing with Georgia

Tim Smith- DT from FL is a flip risk. Could end up at UF

Out of left field- Jordan Burch, let's be honest, his group doesn't talk about recruiting so nobody really knows where he is going.

Justin Flowe- 0.001% chance here, but i'll tune into his ceremony because Bryce Young (perhaps tongue in cheek) predicted him to Alabama in an interview a few days ago. Since the DaShawn Hand commitment I just refuse to rule out that a left field signing is impossible. It would be a total shock but not an impossibility for him to get up to a table with a Clemson, Miami, USC, and Oregon hat and then pull out a different hat from under the table. This is 2019 recruiting after all

There's been a bit of optimism from our side about Phillip Webb today. I don't see it happening because we've got two 5 stars and two other top 100 players committed at OLB, but again, I'll tune in to the announcement.

Think we keep Jarrett but lose Burton

Get a RB, Dumervil, Burch, Webb, Crawford, and we may get Cooper.

Idk what RB we will get since Zach Evans wants to frick around.

I'd like to say "Why does any elite WR want to go play football at UGA"... But have to continue to remind myself that LSU somehow, some way, continued to recruit elite WR's with our terrible offenses. Looking at UGA, if you are a young player wanting early playing time, it is there for the taking. Lots of these kids think they can buck the trend.

Are you hearing anything on McKinley Jackson? Gut feeling is Lane does whatever it takes to keep him home. Baton Rouge isnt too far where he is from.

Lucedale is the same distance from BR and Tuscaloosa, basically 3 hours on the dot. It's about 4.5 from Lucedale to Oxford

It's still Mississippi though and I think you'd have to be crazy to rule out a MS school for a MS kid. Have it on decent authority that Ole Miss is playing ball again if you know what I mean

Lane Kiffin will start to win his fair share of elite recruits. This will surprise no one.

I don’t think we lose any of our current guys unless processed from our side. I think we keep Jarrett and Burton on that front. I think we land

Dumervil
Webb

Get 1 out of 2 between Burch and Evans.

Haven’t seen much smoke lately on Crawford so I’m not sure what’s up with him. A couple other interesting guys to watch will be Williams, Van Pran, and Jackson.

UGA fans, how solid do you think Van Pran is?

Watching for Sam Brown, Donell Harris, and Timothy Smith for ESD.

Watching for Avantae Williams, Jimmy Calloway, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Henry Parrish for February signing day. Will have 3 spots for 4 targets. Only one of Gibbs/Parrish will get their spot. Dee Beckwith if we don’t get Avantae or Calloway.

We expect 21/24 commits to sign. Leonard Manuel (grades risk, has work to do), Jovens Janvier (process risk), and Marc Britt (process risk) the guys not expected to sign early.

I mean it makes sense; Georgia isn’t terrible on offense simply because we refused to throw the ball for philosophical reasons (which was the theory early in the season). We refused to throw the ball because it turned out our receiving room was garbage as a result of mass attrition from the draft, a dismissal, and poor roster management at the position. Tons of opportunity for guys who want to play early and make an impact on a good team

How solid do you think a kid from Louisiana committed to Georgia is?

He’s ours when he signs and not a minute sooner

I predict Jimbo Fisher continues to recruit at an elite level.

I figured he was pretty solid. People were saying that he was adamant about going out of state. i had all buyt written him off until this week when LSU posters started saying LSU was back in touch with him. I don't know how much of that is just rumor though and wishful thinking with ESD coming up.

I always take it with a grain of salt when people claim schools are back in touch with kids. Schools are always making late pitches based on how things have changed for their rosters and kids are always making late appeals to try to get their friends and teammates offered. Sometimes it leads to something happening but not always. I just never trust Louisiana kids to turn down LSU

I am not an insider. I don't even follow recruiting until close to ESD. These are just my guesses for some of UGA's Targets.

CJ Stroud - OSU
Arian Smith - UGA
Jordan Burch - USC
Jermaine Burton - LSU
Eric Reed - UGA
Darnell Washington - UGA
Zach Evans - LSU
Dontae Manning - Oregeon
Kelee Ringo - Oregon
McKinley Jackson - Ole Miss?

Normal for this time of the year, we hear mixed things regarding Smith and Bama, what are y’all hearing?
