He's announcing tomorrow, and up until late last night he was thought of as a VA Tech lock. Rumours are swirling that he might shock the masses and pick TN.
Upon hearing the news, Va Tech is purportedly sending coaches to his school today in hopes of swaying him back to the hokies.
His final five includes UF, UT, Va Tech, USCe, and Ohio State

I thought he was announcing tonight?

Could we be looking a double boom?

That's what it sounds like

yah, I think you're correct. I just read Calahan's post today, so I took 'tomorrow' as 'tomorrow.' Didn't realize the blurb was posted yesterday.

If we do land Taylor, I wonder what this means for our chances with Phillips?
It might not be anything because there's some smoke that Ford could flip to Florida since it's looking like they are about to offer.

This appears to be the most prevalent speculation.

I would be perfectly fine with losing Ford if we landed Taylor and Phillips.
DT- 5* KMac, 5* Tuttle, 4* Picou
DE- 4* Butcher, 4* Phillips, 4* Taylor
Damn.

On top of Barnett, who appears to be a legit All-SEC type of player.

We still have a couple years of Vereen too. It will be interesting to see how his game evolves as he matures physically.
Hendrix too. Damn, depth will be ridiculous along the DL.

I've read that the coaches think Hendrix has the most potential of any DL on the roster right now. The light just hasn't come on as quickly as it did for Barnett.
This DL is going to be nasty by about 2016.

Stripling just tweeted it's going to be a great "double" day for the Vols.
One has to assume he means Tuttle and Taylor.

9 stars on the DL in one day per 247

Mook/Martin/Abernathy and a legit OT would be my ideal close for this class.
ETA: After these 2 verbal, of course.

He's a good player, we stopped recruiting him when Key re-committed, but he was higher up on Deke's board than DE Ferrell from VA. We're just another hat on the table here.

Per Farrell and Va Tech's 247 mod, he'll be picking the VOLS tonight.
