Jackson Academy offensive lineman Caden Moss has committed to Ohio State football.
The 6-foot-5, 320-pound Moss announced his commitment on Instagram Live after reaching a decision earlier this week. The other finalists were Ole Miss, Kentucky, Louisiana State, Oregon and Tennessee.
It marked a significant win on the recruiting trail for the Buckeyes as they were in contention with Ole Miss. He was in Oxford last weekend for an official visit following one to Ohio State.
Moss is ranked as the No. 3 player in Mississippi and the No. 7 offensive lineman in the 2027 class. The senior is the No. 72 player in the nation and a four-star recruit, according to 247Sports Composite. He was also selected for the Under Armour All-America Game and Polynesian Bowl as an underclassman.

Ohio State is paying him $2 million and is telling him he can play tackle there. Whereas Ole Miss, Kentucky, LSU and any other program was telling him he was a guard.
He plays at JA. No high school offensive linemen is worth all of that. Especially if they play MAIS
