Blake Barnett better be ready and have put on weight

You know, I think Kiffin was hedging his bets here, in case Barnett wasnt as far along as expected. Always nice to have a ringer to throw in there in case things go south.

How's the other qb's look ? Cornwell ? Still in the doghouse ?

I think Cornwell has a shot if he vastly improves. His passing has looked like dog shite to the point where he was 5th string.

Alec Morris will likely transfer or accept his role as a clip board holder. He isn't awful but not great either.

Bateman will be Barnett's competition but I honestly hope he transfers. He doesn't have what it takes to take us to the play offs/title next year. Coker has that clutch play making ability and at some point the QB is going to have to make plays. Bateman is not that guy.

Blake Barnett should be and most likely will be the next QB for Alabama. He has a cannon, height, speed, and fits kiffin's offense. He just needs weight and experience.

Good news is, his receivers will be Robert Foster, Calvin Ridley, and ArDarius Stewart. Should help him hit his stride by the time we play SEC ball.

His OC at Montana State was qb for chip and will be the qb coach now that frost left.

He was always going to be a duck.

Cornwell isn't trusted by the coaches because of off issues, no clue if he can earn their trust back before next year.
