Is this still the standard or are we just going with 247 rankings now.

Doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of effort put into the ESPN rankings and some of the Rivals rankings just make no sense whatsoever

Maybe this is just my personal experience but they seem to be way off from the other two quite a bit.

I think they have a significantly smaller staff than the other two services also

Rankings this cycle are completely irrelevant imo. 247 guys have basically admitted that they’re using input from coaches to rank these guys, and Rivals is doing what they usually do.

Rankings are stupid because ratings of kids aren't any better then when all you got was what color chip they were in USA today.

You’re not new here so surely you realize folks just use the ranking that shows their guy the highest and then we proceed to go through the process each time of explaining it’s not the composite. Wash, rinse, repeat every time.

I always use the composite ranking. Has always seemed like the most fair to me, though I'm no expert on recruiting rankings.

Alabama has rated best in the recruiting ranks in the Saban era and has also won the most games and most national championships. It is not a coincidence.

Ugh Xvavier Henderson ranking on rivals is just if u cant see the 5* talent he's a bigger version of CJ who plays

Also Ethan Pouncey downed to a 3* for not playing most his sr yr after 21 PBU's and 8 int in 12 gamew as a jr a bit much if u ask me.for an elite talent from another elite bloodline

I bet Jordan Pouncey even balls out at UF idc what he did at Texas same for Shorter and Lingard bet it all hell Cox too and Reese too
