Quick TE with that size and strength are hard to cover. They throw little guys off them, and they out maneuver LBs. He has potential, but right now he isn't there. Needs to redshirt and get fit. He's on campus already working on it.

No offense but I wouldn't expect petrino to speak bad about any of his players...Kinda defeats the point of bringing them in if you just tell everyone that they are shite. I'm looking from an outside in perspective, i know none of the facts nor am I qualified to say shite about these kids athletic abilities, but I wasn't impressed and I think unless he counts back to the next class or we are for sure in need of one more signee then you don't take him.

I think Philon and Peters are going to change shite on our D. Them, and the frickton of LBs we now have. I expect Austin Flynn to be seeing a lot of action this fall.
Our O-Line is going to be solid the next few years, IMO.
The talent level is still rising on campus, regardless of what the star-counters say. We used to throw away scholies on 2s and low 3s back in the day. We use up every one on someone who will bring something to the team now.

Petrino doesn't talk glowing about a player unless he really means is. I've heard him many times say things like; he's working at it but has a ways to go and things like that. I've listened to so many video clips today I may have this mixed up but I think he said Dean has some of the best hands that he's seen, or something like that.

I'm excited for Dean. If he can keep his weight under control, he will be a good one. He does have great hands and is quick for a kid his build.

I'd like to think so. I am ready for next years class when Haynes and Johnson have a full school year to work on these top defensive guys.

We had a really badass D-line class when DD came in, but this has to be the best one from top to bottom. We got studs at DE, LB, and CB.

Of course we won't know that for sure until 3-4 years from now but I do think it will end up being the best.

Not sure about that Lat, but this is the best 2 year haul on LBs I can remember.
Atiga, Highsmith, Haman, Vin, Otha. Solid. Atiga and Haman were able to RS this year. I may be leaving someone out too.

Not gonna even get into what went down w/ Saban...But it seems like his parents/coaches failed him in looking out for his interest today...
