People will never learn, this is a very good class, but because ESPN said so it must mean we'll suck.

What rankings do you go by? Just curious. 247 is a little too new.

Our defense isn't close to theirs.

Hopefully our new defensive coaching staff will change that. They were instrumental in reeling in Otha...they just haven't had a lot of time to recruit.

I love the guys who follow recruiting one day a year that come in and tell me how good a class is or isn't.

Dude, stop it with the recruiting rankings.

We just finished 5th. Go look where that class was ranked.

It's not the end of the world. It's a process.

Quit rationalizing our shitty class. Look at the schools in the top 10. Then look at this flaming pile of shite we signed. I'm sure a few will turn out good, but we'll never have the depth of alabama or LSU. Our best season in 30 or so years and this is what we get? Hope I'm wrong, but worry we may have peaked.

And here's another.

Tell me this, what is the difference between us and the top 10 classes, what do almost every one of those have that we don't.

Also, tell me about every recruit since you know all about it. Thanks.

Personally I use a combination of Rivals, Scout and 247. Scout and 247 do a lot better job of scouting instate guys. Rivals has only visited the state of Arkansas ONE time in two years. Definitely not the place to go for local recruiting profiles. Rivals does a good job with the high profile guys because their staff is so small now that they basically set up shop and do the majority of their rankings off of 7v7 tournaments where the elite athletes are.

It's all math.

We beat Alabama 2 out of 10 years with these classes. Those odds are terrible to winning the SEC.

Everyone one of Houston Nutt's classes that had a shot at the SEC had a ton of Arkansas talent. We used that Arkansas talent this past year and went 10-2. The best Arkansas teams the past 10 years have been loaded with Arkansas talent and I do not see that but I do see the same rankings that put us not able to beat Alabama and LSU to win the SEC.

Texas A&M will have a top 10 class... really?

Come on...keep it classy on DGB. He's only 18 years old and he signed with the home state team. Regardless of speculation of where he may have became a better player, he'll no doubt be great at Mizzou and will probably set some records.

Arkansas still has a formidable team. I wouldn't want to face you anytime soon...but having DGB makes the idea easier to digest.

Our class would be ranked higher had we signed Milweard, the 4* Qb from TX. Okay. Does that mean our football team would all of the sudden be better? Of course not. Milweard would never surpass Brandon Allen and would get passed by Austin Allen eventually.

Everyone's pissed because we lost DGB. But WR is EASILY the ONE position where losing a 5* kid isn't going to hurt us. If he was a 5* linebacker? Yeah, that would have REALLY hurt. But it's not like we've got shitty WRs. We don't. We have extremely good depth at WR and a number of kids who have been in the system for 2-3 years now. They've just been buried behind a few NFL players. You may have heard of them.

Don't forget, we still have a chance to sign 2 more guys that are 4*'s: Diamond and Jacobs.

Why are you replying to my post? I never said a word about DGB.

Any other year and people would be stoked that we signed two 4* WR's and a 4* RB in this class. This year we are pissed solely because we had a chance at the #1 player in the country.
