Did you mean to post this on the Alabama board? Probably a more appropriate place.

Dline

LSU one 5* - five 4* - five 3*
bama one 5* - six 4* - one 3*

I dunno both teams now play a 3/4 I think, so i'd rather have Bama's 8 total guys for 3 spots than LSU's 11. Seems LSU has too many DL for their scheme no? Or are they recruiting some of those DL as OLBs? Is Bama doing that too?

Maybe I need some clarity on how many of the 'DL' for each team are going to be more a rushing LB

LSU probably lined up in a 4-2 nickel package more last year than any other set. Played some 3-3 nickel. It really all depended if Key has his hand on the ground or not. Very seldom did LSU play a true 3-4 set. Two games I can remember wiscy and bama.

If you check some of bama's games they too played more 4-2 nickel than a true 3-4.

I guess some of the Dline signees could and will end up at OLB.

Regardless I would still take LSU's eleven Dline signees. You can't have too many of the big uglies down in the trenches.
