I like our chances if we get him on a visit. Man if we get both of them. I look to see a lot of alley oops in the future and a lot **** getting dunked on. Just saying.

All we would need is a pg in 2013.

Agree I would also like us to go and get this kid. He can stroke it. Steven Haney Jr.!!!

LINK

I know that we went in and visited him but didnt offer. Kid could help with our shooting problem.

Yea I agree but its just something about a white guy like that. Look at that film. They are on fast breaks and this kid stops at the 3 and pops. On a totally different level shooting than those guys.

Telep and Bossi both talked about Connor Frankamp being a PG. I wonder if that'll affect Barber's recruitment.

I think we were gonna do that whenever Harrell decides.

I dont see that Connor Frankamp running the point. Hell i just watched his highlights on youtube and they play him off the ball. He can shoot too well. Like I said earlier. Kansas keeps them a guy just like him every year.

I'm just going by what the analysts said about the Pangos camp.

They were convinced when they saw him today that he was a PG. He was running the team very well apparently. Plus the kid is generously listed at 6 foot. Going to be hard for him to guard the taller two guards. Id say this works very well for us. I'm just hoping Duke finds some other PG they like more than Barber. Going to be hard to get him if they offer. Distance AND prestige works against us with him

Yea I hear what you guys are saying. Im just going by the way they play. Last year they kept Taylor at the PG and had a smaller guy at the 2 but he was only in there for shooting purposes.

Elijah Johnson has a good 4 inches on Frankamp though. In his scouting report they say he reminds them of John Stockton sometimes. That sounds like the makings of a true PG to me.

Cool I hope you guys are right and they leave Barber alone.

Anybody think one of the 7 footers can earn a starting spot on next years team?

you would think from looking at the roster that one of those big guys will be starting at C. but convential wisdom doesnt apply with this team

Yeah, definitely. Especially when we face teams with the post being their strength. I expect both Gueye and Carl to be a little better. I'd like for us to use a smaller, faster lineup the majority of the time but we also need to be able to slow it down and use our 7 footers in the half court game.

me too. but im not sure how high either guys ceiling is. i think engstrom is a bit more athletic, but Gueye has a better feel for the post.
