I was looking through some EYBL stats and it seems pretty clear that Lee is already much better offensively than Taylor. I wonder how his defense compares.

Taylor was somewhere around 47 in ESPN's update and Hale was 99.

Asked ESPN analysts if Barber really had us and Kansas as his current top 2. Here's what Biancardi said:

"Mark, just spoke to his HS coach today. It is KU and Bama as 1 and 2 in his mind and both want him as a priority. Other schools that have offered - FSU, Mizzou, Virginia, SMU and Ga. Tech are coming on strong as well."

So is he saying Kansas is 1 and we're two or is he saying we are tied?

That's what I was wondering, but even if he has Kansas as #1, I doubt his coach would list a top 2 if they weren't close.

"Alabama and Anthony Grant have also done a great job of recruiting Jarell," said Jones. "They've probably been the most consistent and have been in to see him as much as possible."

@JayJayESPN: Montrezl Harrell tells me he'll cut his list to 3 "in the next wk." Louisville's in. 2 spots open. Said he'll "definitely visit all three."

Well that would be awesome to get him over Simmons.

I don't think that'd be possible for us to take Taylor, Hale, Martin, and Simmons.

Said it more jokingly, but if we do indeed strike out I'd see us taking all of them if we could plus a PG.

I think landing Barber would be Grant's biggest get so far unless Pollard commits. Do you agree with that?

This comes from Gerry Hamilton of 247Sports/Hookem.com-

Here is the latest, which is not much...

1. 247Sports believe Pollard is down to two schools for sure right now - Alabama and Texas. Not saying that can't change, but an eventual decision is expected out of the pair.

2. 247Sports also believes Texas is likely Pollard's top choice right now, but distance is a factor. While the Longhorns appear to be the favorite basketball option for Pollard, that doesn't mean he will go with that as his choice. A battle of head (basketball) and heart (Alabama closest to home) is ongoing.

3.When will there be a decision? No one knows for sure. If you're a Texas or Alabama fan, you still have a legit chance to land the 6-foot-7 wing that will very likely be a two year player before going on to the NBA.

Definitely. I think Pollard would be his "biggest" get because of dire need and a perfect system fit, but getting Barber would be much more impressive considering Barber's talent, location, and position. Really hard for a team like Alabama to get a top PG period, especially not a local one. CAG has to be selling him with Releford being out of state PG who came in, played immediately, and loves the UA atmosphere. Kansas may be listed as his top team, but after watching an interview with him on youtube, I'd be most worried about Duke. It was a few months ago, but almost sounded like he was waiting for a Duke offer. Didn't list Bama at all then though.

@JayJayESPN: Don't expect Montrezl Harrell to go into the USA Trials committed to Louisville. Tells me: "I'm definitely taking 3 visits."
