Im tired of hearing things about him honestly. Hope he shows up on the court unless he goes to LSU.

@scoutsfocus: Montrezl Harrell's dad said the top 4 is Louisville, Cincinnati, Alabama & Florida. Also Illinois, Arkansas, LSU, Pitt & SC w/ interest

I think Harrell ends up at Louisville, but it would be nice if Pollard could go ahead and make a fricking decision. If he doesn't come here, that would help us with Harrell.

Didn't know either so I googled him. He was a blogger on the old bamabasketball.net site. Apparently pretty respected, but grammatically retarded.

With or without Pollard, I would think he would get more PT here than any other school he listed so I doubt that has much of a bearing especially since Pollard is listed as a SF. I agree though, I think he is Louisville bound, but I would still be ecstatic if we could get a visit, and with UK off the list that means a better shot for us getting one.

@scoutsfocus: Louisville informed the Harrell family that the scholarship situation has been worked out and that they have one waiting for him.

UK bloggers are all saying UK lost interest in Harrell. As if something happened in the last 24 hours to change their mind. Its too mind-boggling for them to understand a prospect not wanting to go to UK.

A guy like Harrell would be insane to go there. Honestly, anyone who isn't a one and done would be insane to go there. They are minor league basketball. If you stay for more than a year or two, you will be recruited over.

Like some of our fans? Yes. Not our writers and bloggers. Only thing similar with UK Bball and Bama Football is we recruit well and win championships...

Any program can win with the right coach and any program can lose with the wrong coach. Kentucky, Alabama and LSU have all shown that, along with many other successful program.

As much as people want to believe that there is some inherent magic in their program, one bad coach can ruin it all.

Dallas County (Al.) power forward William Lee isn't a household name yet in basketball recruiting circles, but that will likely change in the near future. The 6'8, 200-pound power forward has been running with the Alabama Challenge in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League this year and he's made the most of that opportunity.

quote:

In the five games he's team played in the Dallas EYBL event, Lee averaged 10.4 points, 9 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game. Putting up numbers like that has college coaches intrigued about his long-term potential and has earned him a few SEC offers.

quote:

"I like Alabama the most, Georgia is probably number two, then Mississippi State, then Auburn," Lee revealed. "I'll probably decide during my 11th grade year. I'll probably take some visits during the year and then make a decision. I'm going to be looking at the style of play. I want to play in an up-tempo style."

He's a 2014 kid. Sounds good to me

He's visited us a good bit. Our staff wants him to fly under the radar and go as unnoticed as possible.

Nope. That's one of the reasons Greg hasn't written about him
