I don't have much confidence at this point. And I don't know if I'll have even a tongue in cheek meltdown at this point. This is the most drawn out thing ever. If I hadn't seen one video interview with him I'd be having doubts about whether or not he actually exists.

I just checked to see when I started this thread. Seven months ago. No commitments.
I will not be starting next year's edition.

My money is on him announcing he is signing with a team in Israel.

Kind of off topic but did you guys see Eric Bledos last night. Man he is legit. He is going to be good in the NBA. He is a freak athlete.

ATLANTA, Ga. - Big man Antravious Simmons (Miami, Fla./South Miami) is quickly becoming a hot commodity on the recruiting trail. Several schools have stepped forward with offers for the talented power forward.
Class of 2013 power forward Antravious Simmons
“I have offers from Miami, Memphis, South Carolina, Alabama, Central Florida, South Florida, Temple, VCU and that is about it right now,” Simmons said. “That is about it right now. I don’t think anyone else is really going to be offering anytime soon because those are all the schools that I hear from a lot.”
South Carolina head coach Frank Martin had extended an offer to Simmons, who goes by Trey, while at Kansas State. When the staff arrived at South Carolina they made sure to inform the 6-foot-9, 230-pound forward he had an offer and would continue to recruit him.
“Coach Martin is recruiting me for them and I know them pretty well,” Simmons said. “I know them from Miami because he has some connections around here. I know that he is a big man coach and seems to really make his big guys better.”
The four-star power forward does have two schools that have gained an early advantage for his services.
“I am still looking around but right now I like VCU and Alabama the most,” Simmons said. “That could change but right now I feel comfortable with those two schools.
Simmons explained what made him feel comfortable with both the Rams and Crimson Tide.
“With VCU I like their coaching staff,” he said. “I feel really close to coach Shaka. I feel I can tell him anything and we can talk about anything.”
“Alabama, I like Coach (Tony) Pujol and the way they play,” he said. “Coach Grant and I are getting to know each other and build our relationship as well so they are a good program.”
The Miami native does not a good idea of when he would like to make his college decision but does have a list of things that will help him make a choice.
“I want to go somewhere that is going to improve me and help me for the future,” Simmons said. “I am going to wait until the fall to take some visits and then make a decision after that. I don’t know yet if it will be in the fall or spring because I need to take some visits.”

Thanks a lot. Come on down Mr. Simmons. You going to VCU but look who made them into who they are.

Hopefully Pujol and Grant's MiamI connections will pay off.

He doesn't have to. They have just chosen to be secretive. He took a secret visit to Missouri and then denied going there.

don't get bent out of shape. Kirby has changed the race for Pollard. We'll see where he ends up in the long run. If we get him it'd be a huge coup.

I'm not bent out of shape. Pollard has had his list of 4 and the people closest to him have said those are the only schools in contention. Until there's something more concrete than a secret visit, I don't think it's important to anyone in this thread
