Just because ONE GUY didn’t know Pittman was at Arkansas - it’s hardly “tons of people”.

He wasn't what I would call a homerun hire but was a solid one and is better than what they had.
Their biggest draw will be the opportunity to start immediately and an overall great atmosphere for the players and students. I've got a lot of Auburn friend that went there and they loved it.
That said, we can probably offer immediate playing time, too, since Cade Mays, Thomas and Wilson all left. We have other talented Tackles, but Jones is a special kid and could compete off the bat.

We all know, and we also know that you are aware of what we are saying. Pittman's ties to Arkansas has been discussed on our board a lot. We are all aware of the story about when we hired him all the OLinemen and Bielema went to his house to ask him to stay, etc.
But the Rant sometimes can be nothing but a troll fest, and it is refreshing to come here to say what we all really feel.

While anything can happen, UGA is still the favorite to secure Broderick Jones commitment.
UGA is:
1) The closest school to his hometown of Lithonia, GA (an hour away) and Jones said this was important to him.
2) is and will be the most successful of the three programs in contention
3) has the closest friends committed to same school.
I expect massive downvotes but these are the facts and they are undisputed.

I think he visited Alabama recently. I don't know how that went, or if they made an impression, though.

Jones enjoyed his Arkansas visit. Auburn has a shot but UGA is home. I think the ball is in UGA court

You never know what will ultimately sway a kid but UGA checks every box on Broderick’s wishlist in a way no other college team can.
Auburn had playing time to sell over UGA but with departure of both starting offensive tackles to the NFL, now so does UGA.
Alabama has slightly more success but further away and no real ties or leans to Bama in his recruitment.
Arkansas has the draw of the beloved Pitt Boss but it is soooo far away that Jones would have to give up everything else on his checklist to play for his favorite coach.
I just don’t see a serious threat right now - Pittman scares me a little - LOL.

Pittman has never courted a 5 star lineman to Arkansas. Should happen someday, but this ain't the year bud.
