You sure we didn't just pay for his commitment, not his signature like USC is doing?

Just another run of the mill 5* 6'4" CB. Ho hum.

Damn, almost 6’4”. Is he going to play safety?

Huge pickup. Bama earlier in June had a team that had the mid-level pieces but was missing the top end. The top end is being added now. Very impressive.

It's interesting that KD & staff have only had 5 months to recruit these kids & they are jumping onboard. Bama has 11 commits in the last month? I would be worried about any recruit that has Bama on his list.

Lincoln Riley seems to be only concerned with the top-end guys and they of course come and go like 5 o'clock traffic.
I guess the California pipeline to Tuscaloosa is a real thing.

Bama was gutted and has more open roster spots than most and some top tier NIL money left freeing up cap room
Also, the Saban effect is still there but will dissipate over time

What?

Alabama lost players to the portal like everyone else.
Alabama replaced them with other guys in the portal, including one who left Alabama 6 months ago.
That has no bearing whatsoever on this class DeBoer is putting together.
None.
