This kid failed his classes and got suspended for academics.
Good luck with the kid.
Good luck with the kid.

He struggled with depression after he got hurt and let some things slide. He got everything together in order to be eligible to transfer, he seems like a pretty good kid.

Why did he want to leave Oklahoma? Playing time or just wanted out? Bob Stoops really hates the SEC.
Samaje Perine - true freshman 1720 yards 6.5 ypa 21 TDs
Alex Ross - was just as good during and in his absence.
5 star Joe Mixon right behind him who is similar to TJ Yeldon coming out of high school.
Ford was injury prone and had a fumbling problem. He got out at the right time.

How many fumbles did he have? Also how many injuries?

Fumbled 3 times last year on only 71 attempts. He also lost all three.
As far as I know, he's been injured twice. An ankle injury that cost him two games in 2013, and a foot injury that cost him 5 games last year.
So in 94 carries (both years combined), he's fumbled 4 total times, lost all four, and injured twice around the ankle and foot which cost him 7 games.
He's great depth, but hold your horses on anything better than backup.

4 fumbles is too many, but he's also young and fumbles tend to get better with experience
Ankle injury and turf toe are unrelated. And have to be considered just plain bad luck as he ran as the sole back in a power running scheme for 4 years im HS with no signs of being injury prone. Obviously college is another level, but neither of those injuries are really defense dependent.
The fact of the matter is the kid averaged almost 6ypc, runs with power and patience, and has great hands as well.

Not saying he's going to be the best in the division or anything, but he was the starter before the ankle injury, despite his inability to take back the job.

don't forget Stoops kept Joe Mixon (broke a woman's face) too
I've literally hated this kid since he was a HS junior
