No big deal. He is just being the georgia straws by making dumb claims. Speaking of, you simply repeated most of your flawed and already refuted claims again without adding anything new of substance. You have the debate skills of the village idiot.

A lot of reverse dick measuring, it looks like.
My only comment would be that comparing OL vs. OL, QB vs. QB, etc. when analyzing games doesn't make any sense. Those things aren't matched up against each other.

Both offenses were bad situations. That's the point, but straws isn't smart enough to acknowledge it. He thinks it's literally impossible for a team other than uf 2015 to be in a bad situation because of the previous staffs mistakes.

Dunno.. it was marginally amusing for a while, but at this point Straws is grasping at literal straws.

Georgia fans pretending they don't have any talent on offense in spite of recruiting rankings and veteran players saying otherwise.
One five star on the line -- oh man Florida has a great offensive line.
Three five stars at QB and RB? No, man, we didn't have talent.

Georgia fans can't handle the truth, say they were left with a barren cupboard with no hope in sight when in reality their HC might just be in over his head.

I agree, hard to say who had less talent -- we can say for sure Kirby and McElwain walked into similar situations and one of them is winning the East regularly while the other is not.
Lataz.

You're a buffoon. Literally no one told you that UF had a great offensive line... simply that you were making a flawed argument and leaving out a 5* player who actually started for you when you were making a shite comparison to begin with... and that UGA did *not* have a good offensive line. I'll take an impartial observer's opinion over yours any day of the week:

Before an injury shortened his sophomore season, Chubb was every bit as productive and often even more impressive on the field than his contemporaries. He averaged 7.1 yards per carry on more than 1500 yards as a true freshman. He averaged 8.1 yards per carry before injury on his 747 yards as a sophomore.
The personnel executive that I spoke with acknowledged that 2017 is a strong running back year but he sees 2018 as equally talented so there's no value in waiting.
Asked about the dip in production from sophomore and freshman year to his 5.1 yards per carry as a junior, this evaluator dismissed that flatly.
"That offensive line was a disaster," he said.
If this season goes poorly, it will reflect quite a bit differently on Smart and the rest of the staff, but as others have been able to acknowledge and you fail to do so (other than one half hearted attempt which you've since backed out of), one season is not really evidence of the claims and comparisons that you're attempting to make.

Please quote the post(s) you're referring to. I'll take strawmen for 800 alex...
As everyone has pointed out, the roster was pretty solid defensively, lightest at DB (specifically true corners) and defensive line (because pretty much everyone is). Offensively, the OL was a mess, the WR position had very little in the way of returning production, and the QB position was either a suspect grad transfer or a true freshman... This doesn't mean the cupboard was bare, but it also doesn't mean it's a plug and play championship caliber roster either.

Dude we had a 2 point win over 4-8 VU, thanks to Hardin and went to 0T with FAU and they dominated the game for 3 and a half quarters. Both teams had bad losses the last 2 years, like UF getting trounced by 7-6 Arkansas. UGA addressed the problem. MAC KEPT GREG NORD AND NUSSCHAMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had 6 OL one yr. What's to explain the shitty offense last year with decent talent at OL, WRs and TE? The answer is shitty coaching, recruiting at QB and an outdated system. STOP Bringing up excuses from 2 years ago! We finished behind:
UMASS
Louisiana
Vandy
Buffalo
Kansas
Miami-Ohio
1st year FBS CHARLOTTE
FIU
WILL FRICKING MUSCHAMP COACHED SCAR WITH A YOUNGER TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ETC.
THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT. NONE. STOP WITH THE TRANSITIVE PROPERTY shite. UGA had more experience but their OL was on par with ours and both were garbage. UGA is bringing talent to fix that. What is Mac doing? Hiring coaches from North Texas with 2 years of coaching experience at this level.

1. Experience does not prove talent because they are 2 completely different things. I have told you this multiple times, so you cant claim you are trolling anymore.
2. If you actually looked at the recruiting rankings of the WR and OL who played a lot this year, you would see the recruiting rankings actually prove you wrong about the talent at those positions.

It was an awful Vandy punt that enabled UF to beat them, and the refs let your DB's get away with some questionable defense in that OT vs FAU, but we know straws is too blinded by the homer to admit it.

Complains about transitive property
Uses yards between teams with completely different schedules to prove a point.
I'll say it one more time. Yards do not win football games. Scoring more points than the other team on any given Saturday wins games. Florida has won 10 games a year under Mac. In years where we're rebuilding from 7 and 4 win seasons.
That's why it's hard to not have confidence in Mac. He's managed to win a lot of games in his first two years, the team is being molded into his vision, so now we get to see what his roster on offense looks and how his team is going to look. Give the negativity a rest and try to enjoy being a fan

We were picked to go 5th and 4th in the East each given year and ended up first. 9th and 7th in the SEC (by some accounts, obviously).
If we're doing better than expected, and better than when he came in while adjusing for schedule (beating that LSU team on the road was a monster victory, probably the best victory we've had since...it's hard to say) then why would we be upset?
A top-ten recruiting ranking later, we'll see if he's got the minerals.
At least TJ changed what team he represents on tRant.

Don't know how you can say there hasn't been improvement
Ranking:
Before Mac got here we finished the year unranked two years in a row and were one year removed from a 4 win season
25th after year one
14th after year two
Recruiting Ranking:
2015- 20th
2016- 12th
2017- 10th
Where in this is there any indication that Mac is in over his head?
I'm seeing steady improvement and consistent winning so far. We need to add consistent QB play into the equation and I think that's how UF gets over the hump and cracks the top 10 in final rankings. I don't get the bitching and moaning by TJ. There's been steady improvement. Let's bitch after this year if UF takes a step back, which I do not expect them to. If we do take a step back, I start to question Mac a little more. But for now, what is there to complain about? We're steadily improving. Let's see what kind of jump he makes in year 3.

I'd probably be on the look for a new HC train to be honest. We have like 3 away games the entire year with two neutral sites and an extra home game.
There is zero reason we should not have a similar record and better standings.
Unless Trask and Franks stink it up and bad.

I never said experience is the same thing as talent.
I said there was talent, experience and stars.
Unless the stars were wrong.
And the experience was benign.
Must just be bad luck for Kirby to have so many stars with so many starts and just not be able to get things done when McElwain came to Florida and took over a broken program and stomped Kirby a new one.

Georgia has always been talented, and continues to have talent -- it's almost always been a coaching problem and I'm not sure how anyone can be so utterly braindead to think otherwise.
But, here's to hoping the talent on your new top ten class is better than the talent on your previous two.
