I agree with this, we need to end the season with some wins and show some progress. Take down LSU and MSU, recruiting will be a little easier. Of course LSU could say the same thing.

I think us imploding would help more than y'all winning the CFP. He already knows that Alabama has a winning pedigree and will be successful with or without him, but we're selling him on how we are building a program. Freeze has built up some credibility there as he raised our win total by 5 in the first year, then one in the next year and one in the next year, with the possibility of raising it by one again this year if we somehow win out. #tIncline

You forgot a fact or 2.
Greg Little loved Texas A&M and even recruited for them early until his "handler" Shaun Smith got into the picture.
