Jesus Christ dude. Believe it or not Ole Miss has a very good recruiting staff, and it appears they have made Texas priority on the recruiting trail. They have immediate playing time to offer in the SEC. Im sure you've never been out of the county you were raised in but Oxford is an awesome college town. It's not far fetched at all. Get a grip

Ive been to oxford. Been to every campus in the sec west actually. Kid must not want to compete only thing I can think of. Makes zero sense otherwise since he has no connection with the school what so ever.

And there are big programs, with tons of championships, a much bigger pipeline to the pros, better facilities, more decorated coaches, etc who have everything you just described PLUS everything I just described. Again, kid isn't from MS, didn't grow up a rebel fan and has zero reason to have any interest there much less sign there. Whole thing stinks, just like the 2013 class.

Maybe he just enjoyed visiting ole miss and being around the people. Alabama fans are dreadful and couldn't care less about the players themselves. It's just another robot under sabans control to them who better win them a championship or they're worthless. And the no tradition thing is stupid, the first family of football is Ole Miss.

ummmmm thank you for the Alabama football history lesson. Im a 3rd generation graduate. My dad played on 2 national championship winning teams.
And yes I remember the Dubose and Shula years. I remember them well. What is funny about those years is that those years are what Ole Miss football has been forever. They've never been good at football. The fans pretend and act like they have been, but they've never been.
So again like I've been saying, it makes no sense when a top 10 prospect from texas, with no ole miss ties is thinking about going there. When a kid can go to any university in the united states they shouldn't be in the top 25 of potential schools.

Look at the Alabama board and find the longest thread on NFL players of any of the team boards. And then, if you can learn how to use Google, find the Gofundme page for former Alabama player Altee Tenpenny's funeral and count the $28 donations in honor of his number at Alabama, as well as the various other donations that reference Alabama fans. Maybe then you won't be so ignorant in the future.
