BREAKING: Five-Star Plus+ DL David Stone has Committed to Oklahoma!
The 6’5 270 DL from Oklahoma City, OK chose the Sooners over Miami, Michigan State, & others
Stone is ranked as the No. 8 Player in the ‘24 Class
According to On3’s industry ratings, Brent Venables landed 7 five-star DL/EDGE in 10 years at Clemson. During that same span, OU landed only one (Clayton Smith).
With Stone & Adebawore, he’s now landed two at Oklahoma. He didn’t land one until his third year at Clemson.

He’s been a silent commit since Mar. BV told him to hold off and take visits first. But he was always an OU commit. I believe its our 6th 5* in less than 2 years, 3 each on O and D. Finally, we value defense again.

Good that Oklahoma understands they must be strong in the trenches to compete in the SEC. Looks like y'all are finding trouble spots and fixing them.
