Tit for tat, Bobo is Kirby’s match at doing the same thing.
And it only sticks because it’s based in truth; Muschamp is on thin ice and everyone knows it. I guarantee coaches are saying about Kirby that he’s good at recruiting and defense but can’t score enough to ever really compete for the big one

All coaches negative recruit on some level.
Having said that, Kirby & Muschamp are friends and former teammates, I doubt it gets too nasty between those two.

Pretty sure nobody blew sunshine up their asses from our camp. But it's not inconceivable to spin the negative that was this season into a could-be positive. Sell them on staying home like Clowney and company did to begin with and then the fact that they could be a part of what changes the history of this program. Some kids don't want the ready made path...they prefer to pave their own. Maybe Burch is one of those. Not afraid to take a chance on the home team..not sure why that's so hard for some ppl to accept.

Uh, we were about as hopeful as Gamecock fans were. LSU fans on the other hand thought he was bagged, tagged, and sealed. Hence all the melting you've been seeing.

If UGA can close on Evans, and After the kipp CB for Evans to UGA it looks possible, I’ll feel better about losing out on Burch.

I’m not melting. I figured he was a long shot. But no reason I couldn’t be hopeful
BTW I’m out of the hospital. I didn’t die

Clowney was surrounded by some studs. Even his last year when he played half arse in every game, there were players around him that picked up the slack and were difference makers. Scar doesn't have those types of players anymore. The South Carolina high school talent was insane back then and thats how Scar had a good run for a few years. But now Burch is just going to be the big fish in a little pond, play his 3 years and bounce.

FWIW, one of our insiders from TOS gives us ZERO chance to flip Burch. Said the scoop was opposite from what many thought. Mom was good with UGA but Jordan felt like he would be letting too many people down if he left Columbia - if this narrative true, greatly decreases chances for flip.

Any realist should realize no chance at flipping him. He wanted SC. Gamecock Steve was right on and most of us were wrong.
My real concern is where did that dude go? Will the real Gamecock Steve stand up?? Is the legend still alive?

He had a pleasure accident and had to be rushed to the ER immediately after the Burch announcement.

That's sad that a bunch of grown men fan boys influenced his decision so much that he felt like he would be letting people down if he left Columbia. Can't see what's best for the kid and want him in Columbia smh

Meh....lots of influencers from all sides. If the kid isn’t happy with his announcement he has almost 45 days to change his mind.
No one on messageboard has a clue on this guy because he was so quiet. He could be perfectly happy.

Haven't read through the thread, but...Georgia will continue to recruit him, but I will be shocked if he flips. I think he will be a gamecock until the ed. you guys killed it with him.

I imagine Mr. Sandidge will introduce himself to you. We were really bummed we didn't get him. SC isn't on Clemson's level right now. Very few team are. but there is some talent there.
