Thanks for the insight dude. Any insight on Lacy's qualification in particular or just throwing out general statements for the hell of it?

? Not really, but question why they were never flagged by the NCAA when so many have been since for such minuscule regards.
We've had two recruits qualify, take a semester of courses at Alabama, and then get flagged by the clearinghouse for high school transcript issues. Both recruits ended up at JUCO.
The clearinghouse has been no friend to our student athletes. Why would it be any different with Lacy?

On what do you base that statement?

I'd love to hear that as well. Instead, we get a drive-by comment.
I wonder if any other school has had two recruits within the last five years pass one semester of college courses before being found ineligible.

Are you claiming Bama did something shady to get an uncommitted, out-of-state prospect qualified with no way of knowing whether he'd sign with Bama or one of its rivals?
I'm claiming that Bama had a hand in it. Promises were made, etc.

Well Bama did pay for Brown's father's medical bills. I'm sure it was through several generous "Donations."

Seems a good portion of their base actually believe Bama runs a squeaky clean program.

And a good portion of the LSU fan base believes there must have been something sketchy involved anytime a top prospect from Louisiana chooses to go elsewhere. To each his own
All I'm saying is that Lacy's academic progress is pretty well documented and easy to find for anyone with Google and a Rivals subscription. And it doesn't seem nearly as sketchy or miraculous as LSU fans seem to believe

Not that it matters now....but him becoming eligible would have only happened at schools willing to make it so.
Bama made it happen, so kudos.

With the amount of knowledge the average Lsu fan on this board has about UA cheating, you would think someone would turn us in.

So historically, Bama hasn't cheated or been caught cheating?
Not a whole lot that can be done about it nowadays....Bama is pretty good at it.

Apparently not that good if random people online have full knowledge of specific wrong doings.
