Unless you are implying any top recruit in GA is a lock for UGA so for the article to imply one of the best instate went elsewhere gives the perception that UGA lost a recruit to UA.

Agree with your post here. Nowhere does it say Bama stole a recruit from UGA.

I do see where the opening statement that "Alabama REACHED into the state of Georgia" would be a trigger. If the shoe was on the other foot and the article said "Georgia REACHED into the state of Alabama" for a prospect that Bama was not actively recruiting, it would probably initiate the same response from SOME(not all) of the Bama posters.

But to your overall point, you are 100% correct.
